The soap dish is made from large bamboo trees from Chinese farms. These trees are fed into machinery to form smaller narrow pieces suitable for carving the components of the soap dish using CAD machinery.
Bamboo is a great fast growing eco material that is biodegradable and has a low environmental impact compared to most house hold materials.
