Numi's Together for H2OPE initiative brought running water to workers' houses at this farm for the first time, and the farm integrates patches of wild landscape into its cultivated fields to protect local biodiversity. Every tea bag is made from manila hemp (Abacá) fiber, sealed with a crimp-and-knot process instead of the plastic heat-seals used in most tea bags, so no polypropylene ever touches your cup. The bags are BPI Certified Biodegradable and supplier-verified free of added plastics or microplastics — not just labeled that way.
