Numi's Ginger Lemon balances citrusy lemongrass and lemon myrtle with warming ginger root and a touch of licorice, over a decaffeinated green tea base, grounding and comforting any time of day. Our green tea is decaffeinated using Effervescence, a proprietary CO2 process that removes caffeine without solvents or chemicals, and without stripping the flavor or antioxidants naturally found in green tea. We source our green tea through Fair Trade Certified partners in India's Dooars region, near the foothills of the Himalayas, where farmers use organic and biodynamic practices to restore the local ecosystem and water table. Fair Trade proceeds fund education, healthcare, and clean water access for the surrounding community. Every tea bag is made from manila hemp (Abacá) fiber, sealed with a crimp-and-knot process instead of the plastic heat-seals used in most tea bags, so no polypropylene ever touches your cup. The bags are BPI Certified Biodegradable and supplier-verified free of added plastics or microplastics — not just labeled that way. The outer wrapper is plant-based and commercially compostable, made from FSC-certified paper and non-GMO sugarcane. Certified USDA Organic and Fair Trade Certified. Steep 4–5 minutes in fresh, boiling water for a full, soothing cup.
