Numi introduced organic wild-harvested honeybush to the United States in 1999. We source only from farms with conservation management plans rather than overharvested public lands, protecting a plant that grows wild in South Africa's fynbos region, one of the most biodiverse plant communities on Earth. This tea is crafted with 100 percent real, organic honeybush, no added flavorings, artificial fragrances, or added sugar. Every tea bag is made from manila hemp (Abacá) fiber, sealed with a crimp-and-knot process instead of the plastic heat-seals used in most tea bags, so no polypropylene ever touches your cup. The bags are BPI Certified Biodegradable and supplier-verified free of added plastics or microplastics — not just labeled that way. The outer wrapper is plant-based and commercially compostable, made from FSC-certified paper and non-GMO sugarcane. Certified USDA Organic and Climate Neutral Certified. Steep 5–6 minutes in fresh, boiling water for a full, sweet cup.
