Numi's Turmeric Three Roots blends turmeric, ginger, and licorice root with rose petals and black pepper for a vital, comforting cup, gentle in turmeric flavor and balanced with a subtle floral note. We source our turmeric from Fair Trade Certified farms in Madagascar. In partnership with the Numi Foundation, Numi built 23 wells, bringing clean, safe drinking water to 4,000 people across 12 villages in the region. This blend is crafted with 100 percent real, non-GMO organic herbs, roots, and flowers, no added flavorings or artificial fragrances. Every tea bag is made from manila hemp (Abacá) fiber, sealed with a crimp-and-knot process instead of the plastic heat-seals used in most tea bags, so no polypropylene ever touches your cup. The bags are BPI Certified Biodegradable and supplier-verified free of added plastics or microplastics — not just labeled that way. The outer wrapper is plant-based and commercially compostable, made from FSC-certified paper and non-GMO sugarcane. Certified USDA Organic and Fair Trade Certified. Steep 5–6 minutes in fresh, boiling water for a full cup, hot or iced.
