• Fruits - Straightneck is a Summer Squash that produces pale yellow fruits that weigh in at about 1 to 3 pounds. They are oblong in shape and measure 12 to 14 inches long.
• Growth - Summer Squash fruits grow on a bush like plant versus the typical vine seen with outher Cucurbitas. The plants grow about 2 feet tall and can take up about 3 feet of width.
• Harvest - Straightneck Squash crops will be ready in roughly 50 days. Once they are ready for harvest, simply cut them from the plant, leaving 1 inch of stem to prevent rotting and to store better.
• Quality - All Summer Squash seeds packaged by Seed Needs are intended for the current and the following growing seasons. All seeds are stored in a temperature controlled facility that is free of significant amounts of moisture.
• Quantity - Seed Needs offers generous quantities. You can share with friends and family, or you can save the extra seeds until the following season, if properly stored.
• Packets - Each seed packet displays an artful illustration of the variety to be grown, as well as detailed seed sowing information on the reverse side. They measure 3.25" wide by 4.50" tall.
