Now, because there isn’t a nonstick surface, greasing or lining your sheet pan is strongly recommended to ensure goods release easily, maintain their shape and it helps with an easier clean up! We like coating our bare bakeware pans with a thin layer of fat, such as oil, butter or shortening to prevent food from sticking. (Pro tip—if you’re making something chocolatey, we love greasing with butter and cocoa powder, so no white flour residue shows on your baked goodie!) Parchment and silicone baking mats are also great choices to protect your pan and ensure an easy release. And…surprise, we offer both USA Pan parchment paper and we have baking mats too!
